Delete docs / files when deleting a job

    Hi there,

    I wanted to find out if there is a way to delete the uploaded files, linked to a job listing, when you remove that job listing?

    This is so that we can free up space on the server should the listing not be needed anymore.

    Hi @michaelsmartmove,

    Thanks for reaching out to us.

    This feature is already built-in to job applications but not for job listings. When you delete(permanently) a job application, uploaded resume for that application will be automatically deleted. But, this feature is not available when you delete a job. Because, the attachments used in job openings can be used in other posts/pages. So, this feature is not available for job openings.
    WordPress also handle posts and pages in the same way. When you delete a post or page, the attachments won’t get deleted.
