    Hi,

I started a multilingual website with polylang. The website is about rental houses and I am using the theme WP Residence. The are some things that can not be translated with polylang, but on the documentation I can see the theme is fully compatible with WPML.

Before changing to WPML, I am trying to delete all data on other languages different from the original language, but deactivating and deleting the plugin doesn’t remove the data on other language (categories, tags, entries, pages, properties…) Everything remains.

Is there a way to remove this data from the plugin settings or from the database tables?

(I am working with copies of the website, and I can start all the steps from the beginning, before removing the polylang plugin)

    Thanks in advance,
    Victor

    Hi!

When uninstalling the plugin (the red delete link in the plugin list table), Polylang removes *all* its data (options, languages, relationships between translations…), but of course it does not remove any content. Posts, categories belong to WordPress, not Polylang.

If you want to remove the content in a specific language, you should keep Polylang active, use the admin language filter on top of your screen to display only one language and use the bulk delete action to remove several posts / categories at the same time.

    Thanks!

Your solution, using the language filter and the bulk actions, was very helpful.

It would be great feature a buton to remove all these data with one click (like WPML). It took me a while to remove all the data on other languages, beacause there was a lot of taxonomies and custom post types.

    Regards,
    Victor
