• I stupidly activated a theme, found it looked terrible, and want to go back to my no theme status that I had at start up a few days ago. But my NO THEME does not exist – or I cannot find it. Nor can I delete any themes in the theme folder – there is no option for deleting them. Can anyone help?

  • Hi Chielemangus – there’s not really “no theme.” You were probably on the default theme that came with your install – that would be 2013 or 2014 depending on when you started your site.

Do you see either of these in your themes directory?

In relation to deleting your themes, just click on the image of the theme. It will bring up a new window and you’ll have the option to delete it there.

    Hope that helps.

Yes, it does thank you very much. I changed to the 2014 theme and my “NO them” came back. But it looks nothing like the 2014 template with all its pictures (thank goodness). There is a way of thinking about WP which I doubt I’ll ever grasp. Thanks again.
