Delaying server response

Hi,

First of all, I would like to thank the development of the plugin, it is the best one and it has accelerated my site a lot. But I have a problem and I would like to know if it has to do with any configuration:

Sometimes, my server takes a long time to respond (it is “waiting for the cache”). And, when I enable the plugin, my server responds quickly (although loading takes time). This happens mainly on the homepage of my website.

Does this have to do with any settings I need to make to adjust this?
