• I found two entries on this topic in the CF-7 website forum, but both had only questions and no answers.

When someone fills in and submits the CF-7 form on my client’s website, that form will take between 5 and 7 hours to arrive. Right now, I am receiving the emails (to my Gmail address, coming into Outlook) as we test the form’s operation, and we have had 3 different testers and 2 live visitors submit test emails, all with the same result.

We have no CF-7 add-ons, so that’s not the problem.

Could someone please tell me how to have these mails delivered right away? Or at least within half an hour?

    TIA for any help.

  • Hi,

Are you using your server’s default mail server? And are you using shared hosting?

If so, I suggest you can use a dedicated mail server for prompt email sending. I use sendinblue but there are many others that you can google and find out more.

    Thanks so much websprout.

Yes, the default server, but I’ve never had this issue before, with any of the 30+ sites I’ve created, always using the web host’s default server. Maybe I should ask the host.

    Thanks for the pointer.
