• I just installed Pixel Caffeine (looks great) and was wondering how to set up a trigger to display an ad after a longer period of time, (like a week or a month) for people that have seen the ads and need a bigger incentive.

Also, does this plugin cover how often the ads are shown? (1x a day vs 10xs for example).

    Thanks for your help! =]
    Mike.

    Hi,

explain me more details about this feature. What ad are you referring to? Is it an ad on your website? Or are you referring to an external ad that follows on your website? In this last case, would you want to add an event by using UTM params for example?

Thanks for getting back to me. I’m referring to retargeting ads on Facebook that point to an offer on my website. I don’t know what UTM params are (if you could explain that would be great.) The concept is this.

Visitor clicks an ad, but doesn’t buy. They see ad #1 for a week (finish your order). Then they see ad #2 for a week (10% discount). Then they see ad #3 for a week (half off, closes this week). For example.

Oh yes, I think I understand now.

Unfortunately, I fear that it’s not possible, but not for the plugin. I think it’s a limitation of Facebook Pixel, I think it’s not possible, at now, track users by Facebook Pixel in order to show them an Ad on facebook based on how long the user has been visited your website.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t know a way to achieve that with Facebook Pixel. Do you know how to do that without the plugin?
