Delay setting when page updated

    Hi,

    I have the page updated setting on in the general setting but sometimes when i update a page multiple times in a very short time, i toggle that setting off and on so multiple requests are not sent. It would be great to have a setting where we can specify a delay when pages are updated.

    I do see the ping delay but was unable to find documentation on what that setting does. Is this the setting I need?

    The Ping Delay setting ensures that whenever you update a post, only one indexing request can be sent within the delay duration.

    For example, if the ping delay is set to 1 minute, when you update a page multiple times, the first time you update the post, an indexing request to the search engine will be triggered. Subsequent updates won’t trigger another indexing request until after one minute has passed.
