Hello again @softwaregeek!
Thanks for leaving a plugin review. When it comes to consent, Site owners who choose to use Google Analytics with Site Kit are responsible for managing notice/consent requirements, as described in the Terms of Service. Site Kit does already anonymizes IP addresses upon activation of the Google Analytics module. There are however multiple third party plugins, one of which I see you have active, that can also provide such features.
Note that Site Kit does also a mini API for cookie consent plugins to integrate with. You’ll find details on this in the related GitHub issue.
In relation to delays or performance, as mentioned in your support topic the scripts that are requested when using Site Kit are service related scripts. Site Kit itself doesn’t result in any scripts being requests on the front end of your site. Any performance change may be as a result of you adding other services, including Google Analytics or other services via Tag Manager. These scripts perform the same if added manually, and not via Site Kit.
Note also that the behavior of such scripts can be impacted by third party plugins. For that reason let me know of you would like me to troubleshoot your site with you from your support topic. One check I would suggest is for you to add Google Analytics manually. Let me know if you want assistance doing this.
