    Hello,

Is the following scenario possible with the OptinMonster plugin?

    1. Show Popup A on all pages of website
    2. Button in Popup A, or top right “X”, is clicked
    3. Popup A closes
    4. Wait 24 hours
    5. Show Popup A on all pages of website instead of Popup A
    6. Button in Popup B, or top right “X”, is clicked
    7. Popup B closes
    8. Wait 24 hours
    9. Repeat step 1 (Show Popup A)

For steps #4 and #8, we want to make sure that when one popup closes the other does not immediately appear because it could be intrusive to users. That is what is happening on the?page we need help with.?When “test popup A” in the left corner is closed “test popup B” appears immediately. We don’t want that, instead we want “test popup A” to close, then 24 hours later show “test popup B”.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello ??

Yes, if you have a Growth subscription plan you can use our MonsterChains feature to achieve this behavior.

    1. Configure Global Cookies for your site to hide all campaigns for 1 day when any one campaign has been closed (but not converted). Please be aware this will affect all campaigns assigned to the site.
    2. Use the MonsterChains “visitor has seen” and “visitor has closed” Display Rules to control the order each campaign can appear in.

That will allow you to create a “funnel” of campaigns to step the visitor through, one after the other. The Global Cookies will control the delay between how often each can be shown after the previous has been closed.

Would you give that a try and let us know how it goes?

Thank you Erica. I don’t have the Growth subscription plan, but will keep these in mind.

Is it also possible to allocate a certain percentage of users to see each popup? It doesn’t have to be the same order from my initial post. But if there are 3 popups, could one randomly be shown to a user but based on showing popup 1 to 50% of users, popup 2 to 40% of users, and popup 3 to 10% of users?

    Thank you.

Hi again Erica. I was able to sign up for a free trial.

    1. The Configure Global Cookies works, I was able to set the cookies to expire in 1 day thank you.
    2. I’m not able to access most of the Onsite Retargeting options for the?MonsterChains, but they make sense.
