Delay on animated text

I am having trouble with the delay feature on the animated text widget. It seems to work fine when using the “highlight” selection, but when I try to delay the action of the text using the “animated” features it doesn’t seem to work properly. I have tried setting it from 1 to 10, with/without decimals and have had no luck. It is not looped, as I don’t want it looped. I am essentially trying to create a list where each point comes at a separate time. They are all within the same container, which I wouldn’t think would matter, but thought I would mention it. They also have lottie files as the bullet points which are separated and also should not have anything to do with the animated text. Maybe there is a better way to do this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
