Hi, thanks for the great plugin. We have created full-screen a pop-up which acts as an intro page on homepage only. The delay is set to 0 but for a small fraction of time the main page is displayed and then the pop-up hits. Is there a way to make the pop-up load absolute first or to delay main page so the first second is just the pop-up without home page apearing for a fraction.

    Thanks

    Hi @tiknius,

Thanks for posting. We’re happy to know you’re enjoying our plugin.

There’s no setting to delay loading of a page in our plugin. That would probably make your site performance suffer.

It’s also not best practice to set the popup delay to 0 as it could affect your SEO.

We have an extension that might work for your use case called Age Verification Modals. It blocks entry to your site unless the user verifies their age. This can be set up to simply just put a link that could take them to your homepage after seeing your intro popup. You can check it out here: https://wppopupmaker.com/extensions/age-verification-modals/

There’s also our Terms & Conditions popup that blocks a page until the user agrees to your terms. See here: https://wppopupmaker.com/extensions/terms-conditions-popups/

Feel free to send us a message via Support Request – Popup Maker if you want to learn more about our extensions. ??
