Delay in sending messages

  • hi. I noticed there is delay in sending a message. When I make a sentence and click “Send” I have to wait like 5-10 seconds for the message to post. What can cause it, does this problem due to my webhost server or to Wise Chat? Can Pro version of Wise Chat solve this problem? Is it possible to turn off some functions/settings to make it quicker?
    I checked phpMyChat doesn’t have such delay.

    I tried to change Refresh time from 1 to 10 sec. I got the same result.

    The chat sends messages using regular WordPress ajax channel. Its performance does not rely on the engine you selected. The delay may mean that your site is generally slow. Please consider verifying the overall performance. Maybe there is a particular plugin that slows the site.
