Thanks for the video and page URL.

As you can see other lightboxes are loading only thumbnail size images that is already loaded on the page from gallery. The LD lightbox is loading full size image thats why its taking time.

Is there any custom code or snippet I can add to open thumbnails-size instead of full-size images?

No, custom code for it, you need to manually edit file for it. But be aware that the update will reset it again.
