    Hello,

I have the Gravity forms No duplicates installed on our website and I noticed that with form submission there is a considerable delay between clicking on Submit and the actual submission taking place.

Is this something the No duplicates plugin could be causing and if so is there a way around it?

    Thanks.

There’s no reason for this plugin to cause any slowness. I can’t replicate any issue in a default WordPress installation.

In any case, you can just enable logging and submit the form to see the timing for the add-on in the add-on log.

Additionally, on the Gravity Forms docs site you can find a Troubleshooting Form Submission Performance article that guides you in the process of analyzing the submission performance.

Thank you so much for you quick response. I really appreciate it.

I followed your advice and at the end I got “Processing completed in 8.098225 seconds.”

Does that sounds excessive to you or is it normal to take that time from start to finish of form processing.

I don’t see any errors in the report so I’m not sure exactly what to look for it to pin point the issue, so any tips who be greatly appreciated.

It depends on many factors. The above is from the core log, so I’m assuming you didn’t find anything in the GF No Duplicates log explaining the submission delay.

If so, you will want to create a support ticket at the Gravity Forms site for further analysis of your log.

That is correct the GF No Duplicates log had only two or three lines and didn’t show any delay, most of the time was in the GF core log.

I will do that, thank you again.
