    Hi there,

First of all I would like to thank you guys for creating this amazing plugin!

Now coming to my query, I am using Complianz with GTM4WP WordPress plugin.
In order to comply with EU-DSGVO, I need to delay the gtm container code until the consent is taken from the complianz cookie consent banner.
I already went through https://complianz.io/google-tag-manager-for-wordpress-plugin-gtm4wp-set-up/, and tried the first approach i.e. ‘Using the Integration by Complianz’.

But after doing that, the gtm container code is always fired in the code, with or without the user consent. Whereas it is supposed to fire only, if the user gives the consent on the cookie banner.

Can you please advise on how can we fix that?
I would really appreciate your response on this.

    Thanks

    Hi @hammadarshad1,

You can block the GTM script entirely before consent if preferred. The easiest way to do so would be navigating to Complianz -> Integrations -> Script Center -> “Block a script, iframe or plugin” and use gtm.js as the script/URL to block.

    Kind regards, Jarno
