In an earlier support post you referred a user to your site for the list of shortcodes but I could not find any reference to shortcodes at either the WordPress plugin page or Your Website

Can you provide the full list of shortcodes please?

PS. I note too that you refer to a new VERSION 4 on your website but the available version I downloaded at WordPress shows as VERSION 3 in my WP backend plugin list. This creates some confusion?

  • Great question!

Okay I found it. The shortcodes are [mstw_gs_table] and [mstw_gs_slider] and the direct link to the documentation is here.

    Hi websparks,
First, you can read about the shortcodes in some detail on my website. However, I’d recommend you got to my plugin development site and look at the Game Schedules menu items. Pictures/examples may be worth a thousand words of documentation. BTW, pretty much every display setting can be applied to individual shortcodes via arguments. So the lists of arguments become very long, and I’m trying to do a better job of documenting them. [There’s always a trade between documenting existing code and writing cool new stuff. Fortunately or unfortunately, like most programmers I tend to err on the side of writing cool new stuff (like the schedule slider, say). There’s a reason I wasn’t an English major!]

As for the 4.0 reference, you caught me. I am finishing the version 4.0 documentation this week, and there are a number of pages/posts that are hidden until 4.0 is published on www.remarpro.com (this week, I hope!). Apparently I wrote over the overview post rather than hiding the new 4.0 overview. Oops! Sorry for the confusion. It will go away when 4.0 is published this week. (I hope!)

Thank you both for your reply.

The shortcode you mention [mstw_gs_table] I presume is a very basic shortcode for presumably displaying a default set of results and assumes you have only 1 game schedule?

Looking around further in this support section I found an earlier support thread containing this shortcode

    [mstw_gs_table show_media=0 show_location=0 sched=”1″]

I am assuming that the parameters contained within the above shortcode govern what is displayed or not displayed.

So I am gathering that there are a number of settable parameters other than the basic shortcode [mstw_gs_table]

    … at least 3 parameters being show_media=? show_location=? and sched=”?”

    Any more than these?

Am I on the right track?

    Regards
    Adrian

    Hi Adrian,
You definitely are on the right track. Please give me a couple of days and the new release and (much improved) documentation will be posted.
    Thanks for your patience.

Given there has been no activity on this thread for over a month, I am marking it resolved. If you have further issues or questions, please open an new topic.
    Thanks.
