Define default filename and extension (.pdf)

Hi awesome community.

I am using a custom template and each time I export, I only get a file name (pdf) without a file extension. So I manually have to enter an extension when saving my PDFs.

I was wondering if there is a way to set a default file name, e.g. dailyresults and a default extension (.pdf)? The plan is to suggest dailyresults.pdf to the user as the default file name (I can live without the filename, but the extension is a rather high priority). Any point in the right direction will be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.
