Defer Apply on Coupon URLs

    I currently have a coupon set up with a URL. Everything is working as far as applying the coupon if there are items in the cart. However, if the customer uses this URL as their entry to the site and their cart is empty, it’s not able to apply the coupon and the coupon is not remembered once the customer adds items to their cart.

    In doing a little research, I found a plugin specifically for Coupon URLs that has an option called “Defer Apply” that will do exactly that – it remembers the coupon if the cart is empty and then applies it once items are added. Before I add another plugin into the mix, I wanted to see if this is something that is already built into Advanced Coupons that I’m just missing.

    Unfortunately, we don’t have this feature yet. I can submit this as a feature suggestion for the development team to review. But there is no guarantee that this feature will definitely be included in future updates as we also can’t give any official ETAs if this feature is included in the future.
