Default WP Email notification not being disabled

    Hi there,

    I recently set up BNFW and everything works out fine. When users register on WP, the custom notification is sent. But I also set up a custom notification for the “lost password”-case and then the wordpress default email is sent instead of the custom one (this isn’t sent at all).

    Can you help me to solve this problem?
    I disabled notifications in the custom notification.
    I’m using WP Mail SMTP for better deliverability.
    And LoginPress for a custom login site, but I don’t think this connects with the emails.

    My theme is BuddyBoss.

    Thanks for your message.

    I suspect the issue is LoginPress is overriding BNFW’s notifications.
    Are you able to re-test your Lost Password BNFW notification with LoginPress disabled?

    Thank you for your reply.
    I tested that now – but also when LoginPress is deactivcated the default email is sent.

    I suppose it’s been sent from the buddyboss theme, but there is no way to see this mail or deactivate it.

    Do you have any other ideas to solve this?

    I install the plugin Better Notifications for WP (for french) and create a new template, but the Default WP Email notification has not being disabled. Notification is enabled. I choose “Nouveau message publié” or “Nouveau commentaire” with the same result. It is for the Commentary of WP used for : “Ajouter une prière” in “Cha?ne de prières” on my website communion.ch (you can see this website also in english). Thank you for your help !
