Default WordPress pagination buttons broken

    I have completed my first website in WordPress. I built it on the Neve FSE theme. I started uploading content. I added 76 posts into the first category, when I realised the pagination is broken.

    I’m using the default basic WordPress pagination links. I’m showing 10 posts per category archive page. So I should get 8 pages to navigate among, but the Neve FSE theme only shows 3 pages. I cannot go past the 3rd page. And I see only my posts from number 76 to 47. (I have them numbered).

    I have disabled all plugins, one by one, but the problem persists. Now I have switched temporarily to the Twenty Twenty Four theme, and there the pagination works correctly. So the problem lies plainly in the Neve FSE theme.

    How can I fix this? I put several months of work into my website. I will gladly appreciate your help.
