Default to opening up map?

  • Hello!

    Is there a way to make it so that the item that is put into the post defaults to having the map open, instead of closed? For one thing, making the icon do one thing and the word “map” do another is quite annoying for users (they don’t see a difference and it really confuses them — where did their page go?!?), and for another, I wouldn’t have bothered putting in the location if I didn’t want them to see it on a map! ??

    While we’re at it, is there *any* way to customize the banner that’s put on post pages? The Events settings page gives ways of changing the list settings, but I don’t see any way of doing that with the single post banner. For example, I’ve removed the categories from my display: they’re not very well presented and they distract from the listing. But I can’t do that for the banner.

    Am I missing something? How can I go about adjusting the banner, including opening the map by default (as described above) and removing the categories?
