default to exclude

  • Is there a way to set the default to exclude a new page from all tree menus?

    Currently whenever we add a new page it appears on all tree menus which means that we have to edit every menu to exclude a new page when that page should only appear on one menu.

    It would be easier to have a new page default to exclude and then set it to include on the one menu where it should appear.

    Is there a way to do this now? I didn’t see an option for this.

    Currently there is no way to exclude new pages from a menu item with type “PageTree”.

    A way to get the desired result is to build the menu tree with single pages, using multiple menu items with type “Page”.
