default to billing option not working

    Hi

    The plugin was working great until PayPal updated it’s checkout design.

    Before when a user was checking out it would automatically go to a credit card page

    Now the user automatically goes to a PayPal login page with and needs to click “pay with credit card “

    How do I default the flow to go to “pay with credit card” automatically?

    Hi Simon,

    Unfortunately, there is no way to control those pages. PayPal is actually split testing their original Express Checkout pages with the new design you’re seeing now, so you should see the old design at times an the new design at times.

    Again, there’s no way to control it, but PayPal is spending a lot of resources to figure out what works best for conversion rates on those pages, so I’m not personally bothered too much by it. I’ll trust that they’ll get the best pages setup that convert the most checkouts.

    Of course, you could go ahead and upgrade to Payments Pro and then people could choose credit card directly on your site and would never be redirected at all. Just an option.
