Default timezone is America/Chicago – it should be UTC

    Hello,
    I am getting warning on status page ‘Default timezone is America/Chicago – it should be UTC’ My default timezone is UTC +5:30 set.

    How to resolve it? I want to see it green. ??

    Hi there,

    I believe that is the server time of the hosting server you’re using. Have you tried getting in touch with your hosting provider about that?

    It might also be worthwhile double-checking your time/date settings as found under Settings > General ??

    Hello RK,

    my server timezone is :
    Current Time
    Fri Jun 1 21:17:43 GMT 2018

    Wordpress Timezone set is:UT +5:30
    Universal time (UTC) is 2018-06-01 16:32:14. Local time is 2018-06-01 22:02:14.

    and WooCommerce status say:
    Default timezone is UTC: Default timezone is America/Chicago – it should be UTC

    So where it is wrong? how to turn the status green?

    Hello RK,

    I found the culprit which cause this warning. ?? Its one of the plugins. After deactivating that plugin, the warning gone. I am marking this post as resolved.
