• I have tried selecting a default image from the media library and a straight upload, and neither will allow me to change the default thumbnail in WPP so it will be used when a post has no featured image.

    Can you help please?

Other than this one annoyance this is an incredibly well done widget. I’m using pure HTML/CSS from my theme right in the widget settings, and it’s perfect. Well done, very nice piece of coding.

  • I am happy with the plugin – but I struggle with the same issue
I tried different ways to upload a default image – but failed.
The default image on the admin side dissapears – but then nithing happens and its still shown wrong.

I use: WP 4.7, php 7.0, DIVI theme and WPP 3.8 as widget.

(until I have a real solution, I exchanged the no_thumb.jpg in the plugin folder via FTP.)

    Hey guys!

Sorry for the late reply, work abd life in general have kept me away from the forum in the past few months and just got to see this topic.

I’ll have a look at this once I get some chance and get back to you later.

I’m also having this problem. Any news? Would also be cool to be able to set multiple defaults that the plugin could randomly pick for each post.

    Thanks for the plugin!

I have the same problem. Any news?
If you dont find a solution, could you make the plugin so that it takes the default thumbnail from the theme folder if its there, so that it wont be overriten when we update?

Nothing yet, unfortunately. Will get to it once I’m done polishing version 4.0.

That’s actually not a bad idea. I’ll think about it so thanks for the suggestion.
