Default theme gallery and vertical pictures

    Hello Community!
    I use the free theme photum and have a problem with vertical pictures.
    I use the default gallery of the theme but if I upload a vertical picture, the picture get scaled to horizontal dimensions.
    Does somebody know how I can fix it ? maybe special options or a advise for me what the code belongs ? Can somebody help me ?

    I try to speak english as good as possible, but it’s not my native language.
