Default store category based on user role in vendor dashboard upon creating a ne

    Hi,

    I created different vendor user roles and I would like that the default store category on the store page in the vendor dashboard is automatically set depending on the user role upon creating a new store. For now the store category is automatically set taking the first category in the alphabetical order of the store category list.

    Thanks for your valuable query and time,

    If you want to set the Store Category automatically depending on the custom user roles you have created then you might already know, it’s not possible by default. You will need to perform customizations in order to achieve that functionality.

    Moreover, Store Category is a feature related to the Free Version of the Dokan plugin. As per WordPress Community rules, we are unable to discuss anything that’s not related to the free version of the Dokan plugin. But you can contact us here anytime. I believe you can understand.
