Default shipping cost in shopping cart

  • Hi,

    I have set up 4 shipping methods in Cart66 lite with costs of ￡3.00, ￡4.00, ￡5.00 and ￡9.50. I have assigned various countries to each cost.
    ￡3.00 is for local post and ￡9.50 International signed for.
    My problem is that the lowest cost (￡3.00) always shows by default in the shopping cart. You have to select your Country and shipping method in the shopping cart page and then press UPDATE TOTAL. This then changes from ￡3.00 to the correct amount for the method selected. (I have added a note to this effect on the page) https://www.cstech.co.uk
    Unfortunately 30% of customers so far don’t press UPDATE TOTAL but just checkout and only pay ￡3.00 carriage.
    Am I missing something?
    Apart from this Cart66 lite is brilliant and does everything I need. Would upgrading to Cart66 Pro solve this?

  • I am having exactly the same problem as Dave. If someone could help or possibly suggest a way to make the page automatically refresh when they change country that would be great! Also, if someone knew how to change the text from “Shipping Method” to something like “Please select country” that would be phenominal,
