Sure. Cron job was required to run a set of scripts for automatic backup and attachment in an e-mail. For this purpose a reliable trigger was required which can perform the assigned job on scheduled time. Cron job is preferred for this. Usually people don’t know how to set it so in default I provided this convenience. I was running a cron job from my hosting server and triggering according to the scheduled slot.
But I feel, it’s not practical anymore when users are in thousands. This plugin is good for database backup and for cron job it’s good for only small size databases.
