"Default selection of auto publish" has no effect

Hi,

Facing same issue. Can you please help to resolve this. I set No while publishing page but still posting on FB.

check Your Facebook Auto-publish settings page
Enable auto publish post to my facebook account=”Yes”
Default selection of auto-publish while editing posts/pages=”No” Publish WordPress pages to facebook=”No”
Publish wordpress posts to facebook=”Yes”

Same issue here with the version 1.2.4 under wordpress 4.4.1

The option_values in the DB are

| xyz_fbap_include_posts          | 1            |
| xyz_fbap_post_permission        | 1            |

But all new posts are set to default “Yes”

Custom posts are also published automatically while none of them are selected and the option field is empty in the DB.

I have it set as per xyzscripts, but it does not work, every post is set to publish – that’s what the issue is about.

You have to change the app privacy on your facebook account.

Click in the menu of face (where you logout) > Settings > Apps > Than in you app click “Edit setting” and in app visibility choose “Public” and save it.

“Default selection of auto publish while editing posts/pages” is “YES” means if you edit your post/page, that editted page/post will be published to facebook as a new post.
If you don’t want that,set “Default selection of auto publish while editing posts/pages” to “NO”.

Then,”Publish wordpress pages to facebook” is “YES” means your pages will be automatically published to facebook if Enable auto publish post to my facebook account=”Yes”.

sorry for the delay, when you select “No” for “Default selection of auto publish while editing posts/pages” ,the Facebook Auto Publish section while creating the post will show “Enable auto publish post to my Facebook account” set on “Yes”.But at the time of editing the post/page it will be set on “No”.
