    Why using the default choice option the default one is not available and is null?

    With this thing it’s impossible to have a default choice because you can’t select the default one.

    How can I select a default choice that can be buyable? Am I wrong doing some configuration?

    Yes in this case, you should disable “Require a choice”.

    If the first choice is selected by default and is a valid choice, then Require a choice is not necessary: a choice will be selected in any case.
