Default search shows limited results

    Hello,

    My website theme, VODI (by Madras Themes), shows only one type of post in the results. Under the theme settings, it asks us specifically to choose which search form to use (movies, TV Shows or videos). If we select one of them, the website header live search bar returns results from that post category only, and nothing from the other two post types. I would like it to search in all types of posts. How do I accomplish that with “ACF: Better Search” plugin?

    My theme developers asked me to do this via third party plugins. I have installed Advanced Custom Fields and ACF: Better Search on my wordpress website, but not sure how to accomplish this task. I have a lot of posts (movies, tv shows, celebrities etc.) of different types, and would like the search function to search through all post types before displaying the results shown in the live search.

    Hello @arnavwp,

    Thanks for your message.

    This plugin searches for content among fields from the Advanced Custom Fields plugin. It does not affect the searched content types and other search parameters. This you have to do on your own.
