Hi, we’ve been getting this error:

Warning: the permalinks for the Maps Marker Pro API endpoints are not working correctly which means markers cannot be displayed and API links will not work.
To fix this, please navigate to Compatibility Settings and add https://schovenhorst.nl/wp/maps/geojson/layer/0/ folder to the option “Permalinks base URL”.

Once these steps are taken, it add’s /wp/maps/geojson/layer/o/ behind it a second time.

Our website is currently in a staging website environment, and not live. It’s hidden at a different IP, and we reach it by changing our hosts locally.

We’re wondering if this is the cause of the issue, or not.
Nobody else seems to be having this issue, i’ve looked.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Hi Willem,

for pro support issues, please open a support ticket at https://mapsmarker.com/helpdesk next time (FYI giving pro support on www.remarpro.com is actually not allowed and tickets at mapsmarker.com/helpdesk can also be opened with personalized free trial license keys).

In your case, please try if one of the following urls for “Permalink base url” works for you:

    https://www.schovenhorst.nl/dat/

    https://www.schovenhorst.nl/dat/wp/

    https://www.schovenhorst.nl/

    https://www.schovenhorst.nl/wp/

    best,

    Robert

    Hi RobertHarm,

Thank you for your fast reply, however.. when attempting to register, and login at the helpdesk link you provided: I get the notice: “Please choose another department. This department can only be used by existing customers.” when I want to start a new ticket.

However, could you answer this question I stated in my post:

I’ve tried the solutions you provided, and cleared cache with every change. The notice is not dissapearing.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Willem,

I saw that you registered a free anonymous trial which does not allow to open support tickets (which need to be personalized). Please tell me the email with which you registered at mapsmarker.com/helpdesk and I will issue a personalized trial license key (registering a personalized free license key is currently not possible for you, as we have a mechanism which prevents more than 1 free trial license key per domain – so I have to delete your old one and get you a new one manually)

Then please open a support ticket and tell us the IP/domain name the staging site is using, so that we can add those manually to your list of valid license instances.

    best,

    Robert

    Hi RobertHarm,

    It’s [email protected].
If you could do that, thanks in advance.

We are probably going “live” in one, or two days.
The maps is not working at all right now, I really hope the license is the cause :p
