I have a woocommerce site and am attempting to customize automated emails based on order status. I use a custom order status plug in, and was able to use this plugin to make a custom email template set to that status. However, on the woocommerce email settings, and when the email is sent out, it has the previous default template, not the custom one. I am unable to change any of the settings in woocomerce.

    Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.
Please create a “Default Template” in your email list. All emails for custom order status will be displayed in the form of this email type.

You don’t have to assigned the email type of custom status to each template, simply publish a Default Template and it’ll be automatically assigned to all WooCommerce custom order status. Please visit our documentation of this part.

    Best regards.

    Hi,

The issue with creating a default template is that it will apply to all of my custom statuses and some normal statuses that I don’t want it to apply to.

For example, if I make my pickup reminder email the default template, every time I send a note to customer, they will also be getting that pickup reminder template.

I just checked on my site with the Default Template but did not encounter the issue. The email sent in Default Template and the Order note email are sent separately.
Can I test this on your site?
If yes, please contact me via this email address: [email protected]

    Thank you.
