Default Options for Product Attributes

  • Hi,

    I am selling products such as footwear which has two different kinds of product attributes, COLOUR and SIZE.

    On certain footwears, I have ONLY one single colour and multiple sizes. Example: Colour: Black, Size: US 4, US 5, US 6, etc.

    In the Single Product page, how do I display the only option when I have only one colour? Currently, even though there is only one option, there will still be a drop down box for “Choose an Option” and “Black”.

  • My question is why change it or even try? Most sites work like this, if you are out of stock of colors it still has a dropdown for the colors you have, even if only one.

    If you really want to change it the best way is to make a new product in the color you with no attribute.

    Looks like it needs a small tweak or you can try with 3rd party plugins to show the variations options other than the drop down. That will solve your problem anyway ??
