  • My sites almost always use page post types (not blog posts) so when I install WordPress SEO by Yoast. every page is set to noindex, nofollow!

PLEASE allow me to choose what the default is! I have one site that has over 650 pages that I would like to add SEO to but not at that level of labor! I would pay for the premium but not when such a basic concept is left untended and ignored.

Found the answer on my own.

Go to SEO settings, under Titles & Metas – Yoast WordPress SEO: there is a tab for Post Types. Find the post type you want to set a defaul for and check or uncheck as you see fit.

i.e., Pages; Meta Robots [ ] noindex, follow (uncheck it) and all Pages will use the ‘index, follow’ default

I think you can close this support ticket.
