Default mute or muted option for autoplay videos?

  • I’ve got a video I want to upload & embed in a WP page to promo an event, playing on a loop. However, Chrome requires that any autoplay content be muted (and frankly, it’s a best practice anyway.)

    Is there a muted=”true” or equivalent option available as a shortcode in WordPress for this plugin/media player, so that my videos default to muted when the page loads?
