    we need the current month and the current year as a default preselection in the search bar – as there is no header/explanation for month/year dropdown the current month/year would explain what to do with this field.

    Hi @aschanti,

    Use the certain date for your shortcode,
    By doing that, the search bar is shown as the current date.

    I’m not talking about the calendar, I’m talking about the DROPDOWN menu – it still shows “SELECT” (= Ausw?hlen in German). Instead of “select” the menu should show:
    “January” / “2020” and not “Select” / “Select”) and the current year and month should be preselected. As there is no describing field like “month” and “year” the user does not know why to use the dropdown menu….

    Hi @aschanti,

    it seems conflict on your website, causing it to happen.
    If you have pro version you can contact us here. about your issue and for troubleshooting, deactivate all your plugins and let the MEC remain active only, set your theme on default, then reload the page, if the issue was solved, then activate your plugins one by one and your theme, refresh your page and check to see which plugin is causing the issue.
