    Hi,

I am using your latest version of ceceppa-multilingua plugin. I have my website setup for 4 languages. For this I need to write my article in each 4 languages to correctly work on front end.

I would like to appear my ‘x’ post appear in english if Dutch or Chines translation not found for that post.

Rest of the things are working correctly it is the only problem I face. How could I do this.

    Hi,
What you intend for “I would like to appear my ‘x’ post appear in english if Dutch or Chines translation not found for that post.”

Where do you want it? in the loop ( in you website homepage )?

    Hi,

Thank you for coming over for help. Here is the link to my site:
    https://www.designsoftstudios.net/demo22/wp_projects86/language-link/

If you open the website you will see languages dropdown in right-top corner. What I want is : When I change the language to Japanese then my page will show the relevant translations for all the article. But what if I do not have added any article translation in japanese? In that case I want to let the article display in english (only for that which do not have japanes translation provided in backend).

    Ok,
In “Ceceppa Multilingua” -> “Settings” -> “Filter” uncheck “Show only posts of the current language” and check “Hide translations of posts of the current language”…

Are you sure that CHECKING/ENABLING “Hide translations of posts of the current language” will not hide something else. From name it should rather say something like “Hide empty translations of posts and show in default language rather (i.e. english)”.

    Hi,
in 1.3.28 I added new option “Hide empty translations of posts and show in default language” see if it works as you expect…

    Hi,

I have updated the plugin version now. I can see that yo have added above mentioned option in admin panel. But still there is some problem and I am not sure why that problem is coming.

In english language all things appear correctly on main page. But when I change the language to Dutch the first post (at top of page) shows Japanese version (you can verify it from admin panel). And also the Dutch version of language appears under it.

And when I change language to Japanese then I see that all posts are being duplicated. Means I see a post multiple times in different translations.

Let me some more info related to my problem. As I mentioned that when I choose Japanes then articles start appearing in duplicate (means start showing each article in its each translation) . So this means there is any settings problem.

I do not have Japanese translation for any article (except the first one) so this means there is some code problem or setting problem.
