Default language not working

  • I am using polylang plugin but setting default language do not work.
    It always shows english version.

    I tried to change that “default star” several times between languages, permalinks and URL modifications settings.

  • jon, we need some more infomation to resolve this.

    what are your exact polylang url settings ? check your static front page (wordpress => setting => reading). make sure the albanian home page is selected.

    hi!
    My homepage is front page in albanian.

    As i said i tried different polylang url settings.

    Current setting are:
    in left side: The language is set from the directory name in pretty permalinks
    in right side:
    Remove /language/ in pretty permalinks
    The front page url contains the language code instead of the page name or page id
