Default image for loaded video

I am trying to use the Foxy theme. I like it’s crisp white look. In order to use a video, it seems I have to load it into the website rather than link form Youtube. That is fine (provided it loads fast enough), as i am happy to avoid ads, etc.

The problem is, there does not appear to be any default image for the video selected. So with one of my main videos it starts from a black screen, and the embedded image is therefor just a black square. not very attractive

is there some way to set up a default image for resident videos in this template?
