I maintain a site for a client that features a few NextGen galleries, but all of the galeries have been replaced by this:

    Default Gallery Type Template

This is the default gallery type template, located in:
    /home/faithuni/public_html/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/nextgen_gallery_display/templates/index.php.

If you’re seeing this, it’s because the gallery type you selected has not provided a template of it’s own.

    Here’s the page it’s occurring on – https://faithunitedchurch.net/photo-gallery/
I’ve gone to gallery settings an selected templates, but that didn’t fix the issue.

Has anyone else encountered this, and is there a solution?

@annieoreilly – I just visited the page where you were seeing the issue and all looks fine to me … are you still seeing the issue yourself?

Thanks for the quick response! I did some more playing around. I ended up upgrading wordpress then deactivating the plugin and reactivating and it seems to be working now.

    Thanks!

    Hello

I am having the “Default Gallery Type Template” same problem with the NextGen Gallery when I move on the pagination. Here is my site:

    Please give me the solution.

@davidblaise – Could you please try going to that page or post and re-inserting the gallery? By that I mean remove it from the page, Update the page, re-insert the gallery, Update the page. Lets see if that helps.

    Thanks,

    -Drew

    Hi,

I have tried to remove the gallery from the page and re-insert that gallery but still having that problem.

    Please help.

@davidblaise – This is a different issue than the OP and is usually best to create a new topic under these circumstances.

As it is, this appears to be a known issue we are working on … the pagination navigation links do not work correctly if you start with a Slideshow and switch to the Thumbnail view.

The current work-around is to go under Gallery > Gallery Settings > NextGEN Basic Thumbnails display and set the number of images per page to 0 (zero) as this will then display all of the thumbnails when you switch from the Slideshow view and the broken pagination links will simply not be displayed as they are not necessary.

    Thanks!

    – Cais.
