I’m using the latest version of WP (4.9.8) and when I go to a post category to select a default form, the box will briefly display & then turn into a second description box. This happens in both Chrome & Safari. Any suggestions would be helpful. Disabling other plugins does not resolve this issue.

@larosa217 do you have Yoast SEO plugin active on the site?

There is an open compatibility issue with that plugin that causes the duplicate Description box.

Adding to this. When Yoast is not installed but Convertkit is active, the WYSIWYG editor will not load in the Category description. It will load for tags. Appears to be an error with the Ajax call.

What’s the eta on getting this fixed? I have clients who use both Yoast and Convertkit, and would prioritize editing their category/tag pages over using the Convertkit plugin.

    Hi all,

There is a fix for this in version 1.6.3. I’ll be deploying the new version this week.

The issue was we were using a CSS class that Yoast was also using so there was some collision.
