Default folder path is being ignored

    I want the player to play mp3 files from a location other than the WordPress Library. So I’ve entered the path to that location (/media/demos/) but it is being ignored, and files in the root directory are being displayed instead.

    Next, I tried entering the full URL as the path, but it is ignored, too.

    Why is my path being ignored?

    When you enter a path on the settings page and save it, then you will see a message telling you if the path is ok and how many files are there. What is the message saying?

    Thanks for your reply. I don’t recall seeing a message but, as I said, it kept displaying files in the root directory. But then, I had to begin work on something else so, I disabled and removed the plugin.

    I just loaded and activated the plugin again, and now it is displaying the folder I chose. So I’ll move forward.
