Default folder

  • How do I set the default upload folder. For example, when I upload something it goes to a 2017 folder and I want it to go to a 2019 folder

    The way WordPress works, if you create a post back in January of 2017 and if you edit that post today and upload a file, it will go to the 2017/01 folder. The way to work around this is to go to the Media Library page to upload it and it goes to the current year/month folder or go to Media Library Folders and upload to the folder of your choice. Then go to your post or page and insert it.
