Default Excerpt in Meta Description Stuck at some words

    Hi,

    For one of my Blog posts, the meta description excerpt is stuck at two words that happened to be my focus keyword. No matter what I do, the excerpt of the post is stuck at those two words. If I leave the description box empty, the excerpt shows up as those two words. If I use %excerpt%, it still shows those two words. If I manually type different text in the description box, the excerpt shows as those words in the “Edit Snippet” preview. However, excerpt in the post grid block still shows the original two words.

    I have spent hours trying to fix this by adding a new Post Grid block and deleting the existing Post Grid block, but the issue does not get fixed.

    Could you please advise as to fix this issue?

    For us to be able to replicate this, could you please share how you are creating the content on that page? Are you using any page builder? Any custom blocks or plugins that create some custom blocks? Please give as much information as possible so we can advise further.

    Also, assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins, themes, and WordPress (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

    Only the site admin would know, and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
