default enable comments on Custom Post Type

    Hi There
    I have a problem with the comments in my CPT.
    Although I enabled the comments in the WordPress Settings and in the CPT UI Settings, I always have to manually allow the comments on every CPT post.

    Is there a global setting for that in the CPT Settings or something like that?

    Can you help me out?

    No out-of-box setting that I am presently aware of that would have new posts have commenting disabled by default. I am curious if your active theme maybe has some custom code causing that, or maybe a plugin doing something.

    Hi Michael
    No my active theme is the Hello Elementor Theme with no Custom Code. And I have no plugin on this site that has something to do with comments
