Default download limit and download expiry

    I am trying to set a default download limit and download expiry for when new products are created rather than Unlimited and Never. In searching I found mention of a woocommerce_product_get_download_limit filter and similar but can’t find any reference to it in the code.

    I am surprised there is not an option for this under WooCommerce -> Settings -> Products -> Downloadable Products. Easy Digital Downloads has this as an option under their settings page.

    Can anyone suggest how this can be done?

    At the moment, there’s no default option for that in WooCommerce and setting that as the default would require quite a bit of additional coding. Please kindly note that this requires some custom coding – which goes beyond the scope of support we are able to provide in this forum.
