default date/time autofilled when leaving and returning to cart

I have the purchased pro version of this plugin and it appears that no one is looking at the freshdesk support tickets. SO I’m trying here.
If a customer selected a delivery date and time, then goes back to the shop and adds something else to the cart, the delivery date/time is overwritten with the next possible date/time upon returning to the checkout page. to duplicate: go to site, add something to the cart go to the cart page and select "proceed to checkout" select a delivery date and time on the top drop-down menu, select "a-la-carte" and add something else to the cart. go to the cart page and select "proceed to checkout" the next available date/time is now populated. This is usually 10am on the next business day.
