Default CSV product import export limited

    We have roughly 4000 products and tried the default woocommerce CSV import/export feature. Export seems to work fine. However, when importing to a new site, it more or less just “freezes” (see attached). Refreshing the page then kicks me back to the Import screen. Then I find out I only had 400 products imported!

    Tested on two major themes and both failed w the WooCommerce feature. We have an enterprise level house w Kinsta so I don’t think server is the issue. What could it be? PHP versions?

    obviously look at others having this problem but it does not seem like they had the exact same issue.

    Hi @olcoil,

    Thank you for sharing your system status report and screenshot along with your support request. That helps!

    I’ve had a look at your system status and there’s nothing in there that stands out as problematic.

    To better understand what’s happening, I’d like to take a look at your site’s logs.

    To find the generated logs:

    1. Go to WooCommerce > Status > Logs
    2. In the top right corner, open the drop-down and select the latest fatal error log, then click view to load it. Here’s what that looks like: https://d.pr/i/tCljQd
    3. Copy/paste the log into your response so we can take a look.

    If there are no fatal error logs, can you try to import products with only WooCommerce plugin and deactivate all the other plugins? Switch your theme to Storefront or Twenty Twenty theme as well. Let us know how it goes.

    Hey @olcoil

    It is certainly possible that you have too much data to export in one go with your current server settings.

    Can you try exporting all products but only include the ID and Name? If you can export those without a problem, try adding a few more columns to the export. The more data to export, then the more “work” your site needs to handle.
